The League of Legends European Championship (LEC) is one of the biggest events on the European esports calendar.
Ten teams compete in the LoL LEC league over two seasons, the Spring and Summer Splits. Each split consists of 9 weeks of tournament play, followed by play-offs between the top six teams.
The winners of the LEC Summer Split along with the team with the highest championship points and the gauntlet tournament winners all qualify for the annual LoL Esports World Championship.
