February was another memorable month for football fans, with the Champions League and Europa League’s return adding to the already congested domestic schedules.

As always, we had plenty of matches covered across a variety of competitions, while some of our tipsters landed some decent wins when covering rugby union, cricket and American Football.

With another busy month of sport to come in March, we review some of the best tips from February.

Relegation Scrap Proved Profitable

Back at the start of the month, Sheffield United gave themselves a glimmer of hope in their fight against relegation by overcoming rivals West Bromwich Albion at Bramall Lane.

The Blades came out on top in their six-pointer on home soil, with punters advised to back the home win at 11/10, while striker Billy Sharp found the net and was tipped to do so at 13/10.

Treble Backers Rejoice

Regular readers of our blog will have noticed a number of trebles landing across February.

In the FA Cup, West Ham and Bournemouth managed to spring a surprise in their ties against Manchester United and Burnley respectively.

While the Hammers eventually lost in extra-time, they won in the double chance market inside 90 minutes at 27/20.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth upset the Clarets at Turf Moor, with two bets landing at 9/4 and 5/8.

The FA Cup proved even more fruitful a few days later, with four bets landing in six of our predictions.

Gabriel Jesus got the job done in the anytime scorer market, while Leicester and Sheffield United won on home soil against Brighton and Bristol City at odds of 5/6 and 29/20.

Those that followed our over 2.5 goals suggestion in the Everton vs Man City game also landed the spoils at 17/10 after a thriller at Goodison Park.

Our tips in Europe also delivered the goods as a recent Bundesliga treble landed across three mouthwatering games.

Readers could have won £128.60 profit on a £10 stake, after Wolfsburg, Leipzig and Frankfurt got the job done, with the latter pulling off an upset to overcome defending champions Bayern Munich.

It’s Not All about the Beautiful Game

While the majority of February’s tips focused on football, there were still some decent winners in other sports around the world.

In American Football, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers shocked the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl. Those who read our preview piece will have seen Antonio Brown was mentioned as a potential anytime touchdown scorer at 23/10.

In cricket, Joe Root led the way at the start of the month for England and was again his team’s top batsman, although the tourists have not been able to follow that up recently.

Finally, the best till late in terms of winning returns in other sports. Those who considered our tips in the Six Nations preview will have noticed England were 29/4 to beat Italy by a 21-25 margin, and they did that as they ran out 41-18 winners at Twickenham.
