Spurs Set Sights on Top Spot

Tottenham, Leeds and Manchester United are all in action in Sunday's Premier League schedule.

Harry Kane looking to help Spurs maintain their winning start to the Premier League season.

Tottenham could sign off for the international break as the top dogs in the Premier League if they secure a third successive victory at home to Watford on Sunday.

The first international break of the season is upon us and Tottenham are the only club still in the running to boast a perfect record.

There’s a further two games set to take place on Sunday with Burnley hosting Leeds at 14:00 and Wolves welcoming Manchester United to Molineux at 16:30.

Kane to Boost Spurs

After kicking off the campaign with a 1-0 win at home to Manchester City, Tottenham backed that up with a 1-0 triumph at Wolves last weekend.

They came through both of those fixtures without star man Harry Kane as speculation continued to rumble over his future in north London.

Kane confirmed he will be staying with his boyhood club beyond Tuesday’s transfer deadline earlier this week and he is set for his first league start of the term on Sunday.

The England captain bagged twice when starting in the Europa Conference League victory over Pacos de Ferreira on Thursday, opening the scoring, and he can be backed at 12/5 to be the first goalscorer against Watford.

Backing a Tottenham win to nil, which is available at 7/5, could be the way to go when considering Spurs are yet to concede a goal in the league this term.

Despite making a winning start to life back in the top-flight, beating Aston Villa 3-2 at home, Watford fell to a 2-0 defeat in their first away game at Brighton.

Picking up points at Vicarage Road is going to be key for the Hornets this campaign and they could struggle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Leeds Eyeing First Win

Leeds finished ninth in the Premier League last term and they are looking to build on that strong platform this time around.

However, they are yet to register a win after two games, losing 5-1 to Manchester United and drawing against Everton.

Sunday’s trip to Burnley offers a great chance to pick up a first win of the season with the Clarets yet to claim a single point.

Sean Dyche’s men have scored just once in defeats to Brighton and Liverpool and they could be in for another tough afternoon.

The West Yorkshire side ran out 4-0 winners in this fixture last season and a Leeds win with over 2.5 goals at 49/20 provides interest.

United to See Off Toothless Wolves

Manchester United made a blistering start to the campaign, beating Leeds 5-1, however, they were held to a 1-1 draw by Southampton last time out.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be eager to get his men back on the winning track at Wolves and, having avoided defeat in all of their away games last season, there is enough to believe they can take all three points from Molineux.

The Red Devils were 2-1 winners at Wolves last term and they offer enough value at 5/6 to repeat that result on Sunday.

Wolves are still settling into life under new boss Bruno Lage and are yet to find the back of the net in two outings, losing both games 1-0.
