Greyhound Tips: The Future Looks Bright for Hutton Pups

Kevin Hutton looks to have some promising pups that could feature strongly on a top-quality card from Towcester.

There is a fascinating card at Towcester tonight with a pair of pups from the same January 2020 litter out of Irish Oaks winner Forest Natalee worth keeping a close eye on for Kevin Hutton.

Hutton’s Sleek Litter Can Keep Winning

The first of those pups comes up in the opening contest at 18.09. Sleek By Design didn’t come away on her debut but she paced up well to the bend to go round in front.

She needed the line late on but her trial times show that she is capable of trapping far better than she did there. If she times her break tonight she should be round and gone before her opponents have time to get organised.

Signet on the Dock of the Bay

Signet Otis is a litter brother to Sleek By Design and can double up for Kevin Hutton at 19.56. His debut started similarly to his sister’s, he got his head in front but he also did not come away from the traps as well as he did in his trials.

The difference though was in the way he put his race to bed. Leading off the second turn, he went through the gears to run out a five-length winner, looking a smart pup in the process.

Simba Can’t Wait to Be King

An A1 winner at Central Park, Footfield Simba didn’t have things fall right for him on his Towcester debut. David Jeans’ charge should be better than the A4 level he runs in at 20.54.

He was squeezed a little on the run to the opening turn, forced to check wide, finding himself in last early in that debut. He showed smart middle pace to get into contention so he is another who, if finding a better break, can make a big step up.

Jeans Can Double up With Dynasty

Another ex Central Park top grade performer for Jeans is Sporting Dynasty who runs in the D2 at 19.18. He went straight into D1 company at Towcester, finding that level a touch hot but is given a quick downgrade here. This should suit better.

Stowe to Find Magic Touch

The 19.36 is not a strong A5 contest but that should open the door for House Of Magic to get his head back in front.  A strong runner over this trip, he tends to need things to open up late on but should turn closer to the pace tonight.

He has a record of 3/14 in A5’s for Bradley Stowe which is a solid strike rate for a grader but stands out even more in a contest where his five rivals have a combined record of 1/36 when running at this level.
