Also, check out the statistics tab and our expert blogs to arm yourself with even more ammunition before firing off a bet.
Placing A Bet
Betting Made Simple – it’s at the core of everything we stand for and placing a bet could not be simpler or safer.
We have hundreds upon hundreds of markets to choose from across a whole range of sports and once you’ve found the one you like, placing that bet is so straightforward.
Whether you’re on the website or the app, once you’ve found the bet that catches your eye, select it, that selection will turn red and appear in your Betting Slip.
The odds will be written in one of three ways – as a fraction, a decimal or what’s called American. Fractions are perhaps as you would best know odds to be presented – think 4/6, 3/1, 15/2 and so on. The decimal equivalents of those three prices are 1.66, 4.00 and 8.50. In American terminology, those prices would appear as -1.50, +300 and +750. Above your slip you can choose in which format you want to see your odds.
Then you simply choose your stake using the plus or minus button and we will show you what your potential winnings are.
A single – one bet on one selection – is the bread and butter bet of customers, though there are countless other possibilities. Hit two selections and at the top of your slip you’ll see Accas (shorthand for accumulator) go bold enabling you to have a double if you wish – both selections need to win for a payout. Hit three and the treble option is available.
Pick three or more selections, click on Combos and a myriad of punting possibilities are listed, usually with the scope for some really handsome payouts.
Just make sure you take your time and only place the bet or bets that you absolutely want to.
So put your sporting knowledge to the test. It’s quick, it’s convenient, it’s safe, it’s simple and as long as you bet the amounts you can afford, it’s also a whole load of fun.
